Our integrated model includes on-site digital x-ray, bone density testing, MRI, ultrasound, plaquenil eye testing, a comprehensive lab, research programs, an infusion center, and pharmacy services for patient convenience.

Oklahoma Family Wellness Center offers primary care services to patients ages three and older. The services offered include: treatment of metabolic conditions including high blood pressure, cholesterol management, weight loss, diabetes, endocrinology care, and other services such as general medical evaluations, wellness exams for adults and children, treatment of minor injuries and illnesses, diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric conditions, and sports and occupational physicals.

Founded in 2000 by Craig W. Carson, M.D., the Oklahoma Arthritis Center specializes in providing an integrated health care model for the most comprehensive treatment available for patients with Arthritis and Autoimmune diseases and conditions.

Oklahoma Arthritis Center stresses the importance of quality patient care. We hire knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate providers and staff. We are constantly learning about the diseases we treat and utilizing the most current treatments available for these diseases. We use innovative technology to benefit our patients through electronic medical records and a patient portal. We have succeeded in providing a place where you can receive all of the accredited services necessary to treat Arthritis and Autoimmune conditions under one roof. These services include an open MRI, x-ray, ultrasound, bone density, infusion center, research, and a full-service lab. Dr. Carson graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Zoology from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He received his MD degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. He then completed an Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Carson has an Oklahoma Medical License and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is a member of many organizations including the American Academy of Pain Management, American College of Rheumatology, and the American Medical Association. He has published multiple journal articles, been involved in research, and received numerous awards of excellence throughout his career.

Dr. Gallardo received her Doctor in Medicine Degree from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine in Argentina in 1991, and after completing a residency in Ophthalmology she became Board Certified in Ophthalmology in 1996. Dr. Gallardo moved back to the United States and completed a residency in Family Practice at the Oklahoma University Health Science Center in 2009. She is Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, American College of Rheumatology, Oklahoma State Medical Association and Ophthalmic Photographer's Society. After 6 years of treating patients with chronic pain conditions, including arthritis, spinal conditions, fibromyalgia and migraines among others, Dr. Gallardo joined Oklahoma Arthritis Center in 2016.

Dr. Kumar received her BS in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma (OU) and her M.D. from the University of the West Indies. Dr. Kumar’s post-doctoral training included a residency in Family Medicine at OU and a rheumatology mentorship here at the Oklahoma Arthritis Center. She is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Medical Association, Oklahoma State Medical Association, American Association of Family Practice, Physician Member of the American College of Rheumatology, and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. Dr. Kumar has been practicing Rheumatology at Oklahoma Arthritis Center since 2004

Dr. Zacharias received her BS from Simmons College in Boston and graduated from the University of the West Indies where she received her M.D. Dr. Zacharias completed her residency at the University of Virginia Roanoke-Salem Program and her Rheumatology fellowship training at the University of Oklahoma. She is American Board of Internal Medicine certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine as well as certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry in Bone Densitometry and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. Her professional memberships include: American College of Rheumatology, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. She also has experience in clinical trials and sub-investigator research. Dr. Zacharias has been with Oklahoma Arthritis Center since 2007.

Eric received his degree from the OU Health Sciences Center and is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants. Eric is a nationally certified Physician Assistant. He is a member of the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals, where he recently served on the Practice Committee. After spending 15 years in surgical specialties such as heart surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery, Eric began serving the patients of Oklahoma Arthritis Center in 2011.

She has volunteered at Integris Baptist Hospital Emergency Room and United Way as a counselor. Cindy has been a licensed Physician Assistant at Oklahoma Arthritis Center since 2002.

Her passion for helping patients with Autoimmune diseases is fueled by the personal impact Rheumatoid Arthritis has on her family and loved ones. Emily is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals. Emily joined the Oklahoma Arthritis Center in 2016.

Sheril completed her Master of Science in Adult Gerontology Primary Care from New York University, and is board certified in Adult Gerontology Primary Care by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Sheril is originally from New York, where she spent five years as a Registered Nurse at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Hospice and Acute Geriatric/Transitional care. Sheril joined Oklahoma Arthritis Center in 2015 when she moved to Oklahoma City.

Originally from Tulsa Oklahoma, Christi has been a Registered Nurse for eight years and spent five years working as a Registered Nurse at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital and OU Medical Center. Christi is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Christi joined Oklahoma Arthritis Center in 2015.
