One place for all your Arthritis and Autoimmune care. Our competent and compassionate providers and staff members have made this a top workplace in Oklahoma. We offer a full service radiography suite including X-ray, Dexa, MRI, Ultrasound, and Plaquenil Eye testing. We have an infusion suite, a comprehensive lab, a research department, and very soon an on-site pharmacy.

PROVIDERS
  1. Craig Carson, MD

    Craig W. Carson, MD graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Zoology from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He received his MD degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. He then completed an Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Carson has an Oklahoma Medical License and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is a member of many organizations including the American Academy of Pain Management, American College of Rheumatology and the American Medical Association. He has published multiple journal articles, been involved in research, and received numerous awards of excellence throughout his career.

  2. Ana A. Kumar, MD

    Ana A. Kumar, MD has been practicing Rheumatology at OAC for over 10 years. She received her BS in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma (OU) and her M.D. from the University of the West Indies. Dr. Kumar’s post-doctoral training included a residency in family medicine at OU and a rheumatology mentorship here at the OAC. She is board certified with the American Board of Family Practice Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Medical Association, Oklahoma State Medical Association, American Association of Family Practice, Physician Member of the American College of Rheumatology, and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.

  3. Linda Zacharias, MD

    Linda Zacharias, MD has been with OAC since 2007. She received her BS from Simmons College in Boston and graduated from the University of the West Indies where she received her M.D. Dr. Zacharias completed her residency at the University of Virginia Roanoke-Salem Program and her Rheumatology fellowship training at the University of Oklahoma. She is ABIM certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine as well as certified by the ISCD in Bone Densitometry and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. Her professional memberships include: American College of Rheumatology, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. She also has experience in clinical trials and sub-investigator research.

  4. Eric J. Campbell, PA-C

    Eric J. Campbell, PA-C is a nationally certified Physician Assistant, and a proud member of the medical provider team at OAC. He began serving the patients of OAC in 2011, after spending 15 years in surgical specialties such as heart surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery. Eric received his degree from the OU Health Sciences Center and is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants. He is a member of the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals, where he recently served on the Practice Committee.

  5. Cynthia (Cindy) Chtay, PA-C

    Cindy Chtay, PA-C has been a licensed Physician Assistant at OAC since 2002. She received her Master of Health Science Degree from OU Health Sciences Center where she graduated with honors. Cindy is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Association of Physician Associates. She has volunteered at Integris Baptist Hospital Emergency Room and United Way as a counselor.

  6. Jama Shoemaker, PA-C

    Jama Shoemaker, PA-C is a Physician Assistant licensed by the American Academy of Physician Assistants and has dedicated her career serving patients at OAC since 2001. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Oklahoma Christian University and her Masters from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Her passion for helping patients with Autoimmune Diseases is fueled by the personal impact Rheumatoid Arthritis has on her family and loved ones.

  7. Jennifer M. Damitsian, NP-C

    Jennifer M. Damitsian, NP-C is an AANP board certified Nurse Practitioner at OAC. She received her Masters of Science degree from Regis College in Weston, MA and has a BS in Nursing and Biochemistry. Jennifer joined our team in 2013. She has experience in Rheumatology along with family medicine, and internal medicine. She served as nurse practitioner in the military and has been decorated with a National Defense Service Medal, a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, an AF Training Ribbon, an AF Commendation Medal, and an AF Longevity Medal. She gives back to the community and nation through her service in the USAF Reserves and Jewish War Veterans.

Founded in 2000 by Craig W. Carson, M.D., the Oklahoma Arthritis Center (OAC) specializes in providing the best treatment available for patients with Rheumatologic and Autoimmune diseases and conditions.

OAC stresses the importance of quality patient care. We hire knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate providers and staff. We are constantly learning about the diseases we treat, and utilizing the most current treatments available for these diseases. We use innovative technology to benefit our patients through electronic medical records and a patient portal. We have succeeded in providing a place where you can receive all of the accredited services necessary to treat Rheumatologic and Autoimmune conditions under one roof. These services include an open MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, Bone Density, Infusion Center, Research, and a full Lab. We pride ourselves as the best place available to be treated for Rheumatologic and Autoimmune diseases.
